Tarun decided to raise money for Child Bereavement UK , in memory of his beloved friend , Eddie Fitzgerald only 19,  who sadly passed away in a tragic accident.

Tarun has recorded a song “lightning” and produced a T-Shirt in memory of his friend . Tarun says he  couldn’t help stop thinking about the way Eddie’s parents must have been feeling , so wanted to show them that we all love them and they have all of our support he says.  That’s when he thought of creating and selling the t shirt’s for charity.  I am very fortunate to have any sort of platform, so I feel as if I have a duty to use this platform for love and positivity. I hope we can make Eddie proud, he goes on to say.

Child Bereavement UK is a national charity . The charity supports individuals and families and educates professionals both when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, and when a child is facing bereavement. Nicky Seevaraj , Senior Community Fundraiser for London says we are very grateful to Tarun Puri, a musical artist for his support and I admire the unique way he has chosen to remember his beloved friend by writing a song and producing  a lovely t-shirt.

The ambition of the charity is to significantly increase the bereavement support they offer across the UK to reach many more children, young people and families, particularly in locations where no bereavement services exist and areas of economic deprivation where the prevalence and impact of child bereavement are greatest. They also aim to grow the number of professionals they train each year (over 100,000 last year), so they are better equipped to support bereaved families in their daily work. For free confidential support, information and guidance, the Child Bereavement UK helpline team is available to take calls and respond to emails 9am-5pm Monday-Friday 0800 02 888 40 or
